Land Surveying Field Technician in the Denver-metro area
An entry-level position with the opportunity to learn and gain experience in the land surveying field. This surveyor will work on multiple projects with a broad range of project types. Most work will be in front range with some travel to the mountains. Experience in land surveying preferred but not required. Applicant will be working with an experienced Field Surveyor full time and on-the-job training will be provided.

Position is Full time – some weeks may be 30 hours – some may be 50 or 60 hours – weather, workload, scheduling, dictate how much time is required.

Pay is $20-$25 per hour depending on experience and raises are performance-based. During work-related travel, per diem expenses are paid. Paychecks are once per month.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Must be reliable, professional, 100% dependable – someone your team and our customers can count on!
Land surveying experience is preferred. Experience in construction, engineering, CDOT or related field will be considered.
We use Leica and Trimble Instruments – knowledge of these instruments is beneficial, but not mandatory. On the job training provided.
Minimum Education Level – High School Diploma
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required free of major infractions.
Must have good communication Skills, be punctual and flexible with schedule.
Must be able to do physically demanding work – carrying survey equipment, driving stakes, working in heat and cold, and motivated to do a complete thorough job.
We work statewide and applicant must be located in the Denver-metro area and able to travel within the state for 2-4 days at a time – hotels, gas, use of company truck, per diem, etc. fully paid by employer for out-of-town work.
Must be physically able to perform physical tasks (walking over rough ground, carrying equipment, Etc.) outdoors for 8-12 hours.
