An ALTA Survey or ACSM Survey is a very comprehensive type of survey that adheres to standards jointly approved by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM). It is a boundary survey and improvement survey for residential or commercial use that follows specific guidelines.
An ALTA survey includes the following services:
- Boundary corners located, recovered or calculated and reset.
Property corners are identified by size, type, description, origin and physical markings. Property corners that are marked by Central Rockies Land Surveying are labeled with the surveyor’s name and license number.
- All improvements represented with precise distances to the nearest property line.
This includes improvements and uses on adjacent property corners.
- Includes Colorado Registration stamp or seal with surveyor’s original signature and comprehensive certification.
- Options to include additional land surveying information such as: utilities, topography, zoning restrictions, striping, and flood zone delineation.
The most comprehensive and complete surveying service, an ALTA Survey is used mostly for commercial and industrial projects.
